Unfortunately we do not accept children under 12 years at the property and sorry, no pets. Cathedral bells strike every 15 minutes and on the hour.This doesn't concern most people, but it is audible from the property.

Arrival & Parking
You'll arrive onto Wellington street via a narrow side road. Proceeding through the iron gates of Skell Gardens you'll find the house and private parking for two cars on a gravel driveway.
Please note: Food etc delivery vehicles do not drive beyond the gates down the drive.
You will be provided with instructions regarding your arrival and a copy of our terms & conditions. Please contact us to discuss payment arrangements.
Garden
In the summer months this garden is the ideal private space in which to relax & recline on the patio with a refreshing beverage!
There's a small summerhouse offering a retreat from the sunshine and space for a couple of bicycles if you're feeling active.
Boot Room & Utilites
You'll enter the property into the boot-room, which is a tile floored storage and utilities area. Perfect for laying down luggage & muddy boots, hanging jackets and confining chaos.
This space also houses the laundry facilities of a washing machine and separate dryer.
Shower Room
Once you've become acquainted with the property, you'll probably want to freshen up. You'll have a choice between the ground-floor wet room with thermostatic rain shower and upstairs bathroom, with Burlington bath suite & overhead shower. Classically styled with modern features; including, wash basin, toilet, towel radiator and shaver charging point.

Kitchen
We welcome you with refreshments including milk in the fridge.
Whether you feel like eating in and rustling up a meal in the contemporary space or eating out, the kitchen is fully equipped.
Features: Full size fridge-freezer, dish-washer, gas hob and electric oven, extractor fan, microwave, kettle, toaster, ovenware, cutlery & dinnerware.
You'll also find several restaurants two minutes walk away up Duck Hill into town.
Lounge
There's nothing more inviting that the glow of a warm fire on a cold night. Recline in comfort on the three seater sofa, whilst enjoying your favourite programme on the smart TV and the crackle of the log fire.
You may find yourself lost in a novel, a drink on the coffee table and reclined in one of the armchairs.
You'll find a selection of literature on the bookshelves, including novels, magazines and information on the local area.
Hallway and Stairs
This property benefits from many period features, one such feature is a steep staircase and narrow landing! We do ask guests who struggle with mobility to take this into consideration when booking.
We have made every effort to ensure your comfort and safety such as installing movement sensor activated landing lights.
Double Bedroom
Overlooking the property's garden and the Cathedral's west entrance, the cosy double bedroom offers a great excuse for a lie-in... Un-interrupted by light as both bedrooms benefit from plain black-out and woollen roman blinds in Abraham Moon fabric.
All of our bed linen is 100% cotton, our pillows and duvets are hypoallergenic and we only use ecological skin-friendly detergents.
This room has a walk-in wardrobe with hangers and shelves and space for luggage. You will be provided with a set of towels for each guest.
Twin / Superking Bedroom
The larger bedroom of the two, we can accommodate guests wishing for two single beds or one super-king sized bed.
Traditional features such as an antique fire surround and period pine wardrobe are nods to the history of this house.
A dressing table sits in an alcove by the large sash window.
All linen is provided, including a set of towels for each guest and a hairdryer can be found inside the dresser.
Bathroom
The fabulous Burlington suite allows for a superior finish in this small but perfectly adequate room, with a bath/shower mixer, wash basin, sink and towel radiator.
We've tried to ensure that each room has a high quality finish and helpful details that will make for a comfortable and enjoyable stay for our guests.
